Quite Possibly the Best Cuisine in Monterosso

In the Cinque Terre, Miky’s restaurant in Monterosso gets my vote for the very best cuisine. When the basic menus at the basic restaurants get old, Miky always comes to the rescue with creative and lively dishes, as his daughter Sara explains.

  5. hey rick! im studying abroad in florence and was in the cinque terre yesterday! hiked from coniglia to vernazza and beached it in Monterosso :) your guidebooks have helped me on many of a weekend traveling all over europe! Grazie mille!

  8. We visited Miky`s in July 2010. The meal was amazing. It is a must dining experience in Monterosso. I also strongly recommend Angelo`s Boat tours for an unforgettable Sunset dinner cruise. Thank you to Rick for sharing this amazing part of Italy with the public. Looking very forward to our second Rick Steves tour to Germany, Switzerland and Austria in June 2010. Brenda and Bruce

  9. Hi Rick! My husband and I stayed in Monterosso last fall….loved it!! We stayed at Mateo`s lovely hotel and then his little apartment. He and his wife are delightful…so fun to see him here on your video! Love love love the Cinque Terre thanks to you!!!! Sheri

  10. Last June, two friends and I visited Monterosso and took your advice about Miky`s. It was one of our splurge meals, but it was wonderful! The chocolate souffle was so good that I asked the waiter to propose to the chef for me. The nineteen year old behind the counter blushed and the entire kitchen roared. Thanks for the tip on an unforgetable evening.
