  1. What a great insight by Maryam to another culture. Perhaps she could tell us what the last word of her poem was and what it means? I couldn’t quite catch that final word. I hope Maryam lives in the US now because her childhood reflections show us that people everywhere are fundamentally decent no matter their leaders’ postures.
