Western visitors ‘ who have heard horror stories about the challenging-to-use “Turkish toilets” ‘ wonder about the bathroom facilities they’ll encounter in Turkey. This tour of my WC makes it clear that there’s nothing to worry about. (But practice your squatting, just in case.)

Looks better than many I`ve used around the world. Perhaps some of the folks on the tour could comment extemporaneously on their hotel accommodations so far in Turkey: cleanliness, comfort, noise, friendliness etc?
So, about that little water nozzle in the toilet. What are the ergonomics of such a device? That is to say, it seems to be spraying downwards, when I would expect a more upwardly direction of water to reach the trouble spots. I guess this is just one of those things one has to try out for themselves in order to gain a complete understanding.
