Face to Face with Rick Steves

Thanks for traveling with me through Egypt. I’ll be reporting from Israel starting tomorrow. For a little break from the Middle East–and for something far more serious–here’s a fascinating interview produced by Seattle public television station KCTS. Just before flying to Cairo a couple of weeks ago, I had the honor and privilege of sitting down for a candid, one-on-one interview with the famous travel writer, Rick Steves. Check this out.

  1. Thanks for letting me live my travels through your eyes – silly question – are there European tours that come to America? I would LOVE to see what they say and what they see in America. Any Euro-Rick Steves out there??

  2. Rick,

Keep on traveling….While my last trip through Israel and into Egypt and return to Greek islands has been long ago and I assume much more improvements everywhere…a terrific time and a recommendation for all should enjoy so many of these historical and beautiful places….

    God Bless us all!

From good ‘ol Beantown (Boston) where We are Boston Strong! …and welcome all and have much history and a wonderful metro Boston area to share….

    Chris

  3. Hi,

All Rick has to do is call me and I’ll tape myself at WEDU in Tampa. Rick calls me his Doppelganger (twin).

Good luck in the Holy Land and Turkey. Claire and Bryan wish you the best too.
