Market Chaos in a Churning Cityscape

Just standing on a curb in a city where the police department was recently sent packing, you see a thunderous commotion that somehow works, and that locals learn to live with.

If you can’t see the video below, watch it on YouTube.

  1. I love this video! When I was in Cairo, many years ago, I was struck by the never-ending sound of honking horns – to say nothing of how heavy the traffic volume was and how the cars and vans somehow seemed to avoid collision. Thank you for traveling to Egypt and showing glimpses of life there. I had the most amazing time when I visited the country, and long to return. It is truly an incredible place.

  2. Great post! When I’m in Cairo I always have my camera at the readythere is so much going on!

  3. Rick and Friends,

No other media outlet would give us such an honest look at how Egypt is today.

    Thanks!
