A fun part of my work is being parodied or otherwise becoming part of other people’s creative projects. I stumble into lots of examples of this. And, while I’ve heard several songs about myself, this one — which I just discovered today — is my favorite. Congratulations, Brenton Haack. I’ll take your lyrics in the most positive light possible. This track did nothing for me. The structure of the verses was interesting, but the lyrics were pedestrian. Plus, either the singer needed his sound turned up in the studio or he needs to learn to quit singing 3 feet from the mic.
