Forgive me for not dressing up for this, but while showering early one morning, the spirit moved me to share a peek at life as a tourist in Venice — and to show how the demand for private bathrooms in once-spacious elegant rooms has resulted in rooms that are less spacious and elegant, but more convenient.

What a great solution!
A few years ago we stayed in a hotel in St Gore Germany and the same kind of thing. The shower was so small. My husband and I aren’t large people at all. We actually had to put our soap and shampoo on the floor of the shower and when I went to bend down to pick up the shampoo some body part hit the hot water lever and I almost killed myself jumping out of that shower not to get burned. We always check out the bathroom first because it is always a surprise.
